This Spring we present an exploration in long and dramatic shapes:
Thamanyah’s linen demi-kandora can be twisted around the waist and tucked into jeans for a casual alternative to this light and austere silhouette.
Lost & Found’s elongated pull-over cotton shirt holds a front pouch pocket and raw hemlines.
Boris Bidjan Saberi’s seamless cotton half-sleeve knit is vented at the hemline for easy movement.
Ann Demeulemeester’s henley closure cotton tunic is featherweight and balanced by seamwork that echoes tailored clothing.
InAisce’s crisp cotton shirt features a standing collar and covered placket.

Now that we are at the end of our A/W 11 deliveries and the weather has taken a slight turn towards the cool, here for your consideration are six coats.
1. Ann Demeulemeester:
As featured in our A/W 11 preview, this double breasted coat in a thick wool/linen has a feature which allows the wearer to fold back the bottom half creating the appearance of a tailcoat. It also allows for greater ease when walking.

2. Yohji Yamamoto:
Made of lustrous wool gabardine, this coat is double breasted and has a scarf-like shawl lapel. Inside, is an adjustable belt which keeps the coat close to the body even when it’s worn open.

3. Lost & Found:
Designed without lapels and utilizing an internal closing system, this coat has minimal surface details. However, there are two different material textures: moleskin for the body and a nubby “knit” for the sleeves.

4. Carol Christian Poell:
Made with very thick wool/raime and featuring his signature overlock stitch and water proof taping, this coat is constructed using “one piece” of material where the seams do not meet. The fit is strict and the execution is rigorous.
5. Julius:
A wool/rayon/linen mix is washed and then used as a double layer for this coat. It is unconstructed and double breasted and has an oversized hood. When worn partially closed (as shown) it creates interesting folds.

6. Dior Homme:
In extra thick wool, this belted single breasted coat has a “cape” attached to provide extra warmth.
