COMME DES GARCONS COMME DES GARCONS

Conceptual legend Comme des Garçons brought the Japanese avant-garde to the West in 1981 with a groundbreaking collection that introduced deconstruction, asymmetry, and a monochromatic color scheme as the new paradigm of conceptual fashion. Known for their radical "anti-fashion" aesthetic, head designer Rei Kawakubo's creations remain a challenging intellectual force that has never left the cutting edge. Introduced in 1993, the Comme des Garçons Comme des Garçons line furnishes staple women’s styles introduced in the main collection: polka dots, unorthodox tailoring, hole-punctured knits, and pleated skirts and jodhpur trousers.
