ALEXANDER WANG

Champion of downtown cool Alexander Wang founded his namesake line in 2004, debuting at New York Fashion Week in 2007. His nonchalant urban aesthetic caught on immediately, winning him a GQ Menswear Designer of the Year award the same year he launched his men’s collection in 2011. Strong influences of 90s streetwear and sportswear set Wang’s hoodies, bomber jackets, basketball shorts, backpacks, and jerseys apart. Utilitarian design elements and innovative tech fabrics including mesh, neoprene, and treated leather contrast slick, streetwise silhouettes, resulting in a modern wardrobe that captures all the contrasts of city life.
