RETURNS
Please review our return policy before submitting your request.
GENERAL
- Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Fragrance, body products and apothecary are final sale and not eligible for return.
- All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before the are dispatched to customers.
- If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, email clientservices@ateliernewyork.com with photos and your order number.
- We do not offer price adjustments on sale items or for further markdowns after purchase.
- Colors: We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on ateliernewyork.com. As computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color is completely accurate
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
Return requests for full-priced items must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
Once approved, returns must be shipped within 7 days of receiving your RMA.
To be eligible:
- Items must be unworn, undamaged, and in saleable condition
- All designer tags and security tags must be untampered and attached
- Original packaging (boxes, dust bags, etc) must be included.
The following are not eligible:
- Sale or discounted items
- Fragrance, body products or apothecary
- Intimate items (e.g. swimwear, underwear, bodysuits)
- Altered or special order items
Please note: Removing or tampering with the security tag voids eligibility for return or exchange.
INSPECTION & RETURN INTEGRITY
All returns are inspected upon receipt.
Items must match the original condition, quantity, and contents.
Returns that are empty, contain incorrect items, or do not match the original shipment will be rejected and not refunded.
HOW TO RETURN
1. Email clientservices@ateliernewyork.com with your order number and reason for return.
2. Receive your RMA form.
3. Include the RMA form in the return package
4. Repack securely using original packaging. Ensure the previous label is removed/covered with the new label.
5. Drop the package off at the shipping carrier within 7 days of receiving the RMA
6. Obtain a receipt at the time of drop-off and retaining it until your return has been received and processed.
Returns without authorization may be refused.
Returns shipped outside of the 7-day return window may be subject to rejection or eligible only for store credit at the discretion of Atelier New York
Proof of shipment may be required in the event a return is lost in transit.
SHIPPING FEES
- Domestic return fee $15 *Some exclusions apply
- Bulk orders may incur additional fees
- We do not offer international return shipping at this time
REFUNDS
Refunds are processed once the returned merchandise has been received and approved.
- Issued to the original form of payment
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- If a return shipping label was issued, a $15 return shipping fee will be deducted
Please allow:
- 3-5 business for return processing after receipt.
- Funds typically appear within 3-5 business days, but may take up to 30 business days depending on your payment provider.
If the original payment method has been cancelled, the card issuer may reroute the funds to your new card or active account.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Goods are classified as faulty if they are damaged upon receipt. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
If you would like to exchange the faulty goods, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product, size, color, and subject to availability within 7 days of receipt at the managers discretion.
If your item is faulty upon receipt:
- Email clientservices@ateliernewyork.com immediately with photos of the issue, your order number, and a photo of the untampered security tag.

EXCHANGES
We do not currently offer an exchange service. A return request must be submitted and approved for refund. Sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange. You will be refunded for the original full priced item in accordance with our returns policy.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Returns must be sent via a traceable carrier
- Unauthorized returns may be refused
Return shipping labels provided by Atelier New York are issued for the return of the original merchandise only.
Tampering with, altering, or misusing the return label—including sending unauthorized items or empty packages—may result in the return being denied or refused upon receipt.
